Christian Birth Doulas in Middle Tennessee

Updated: Mar 28

If you’re here, there’s a good chance you’re looking for a Christian birth doula in the Nashville area — and first, I’m really glad you found your way here.

I’m Amanda Githaiga, the doula behind Rose Birth Services. I serve families throughout Middle Tennessee with faith-rooted birth support, advocacy, and education that helps you walk into birth clear, calm, and not easily overridden.

And before you go anywhere else — reach out.

Even if your due date is close. Even if you’re not totally sure what you need yet.

If I have space, I would love to support you.

And if I don’t, I’m not going to leave you scrambling to figure it out on your own — I’ll point you to women I trust.

The best place to start is my inquiry form — that’s where I can check availability and guide you from there.

Meet the Other Midstate Christian Birth Doulas

If I’m unavailable, Lauren is my first recommendation.

She is my dearest sister in this work and my primary backup.

If you’re looking for someone steady, grounded, and deeply aligned in how she supports women in birth, she’s a beautiful place to start:

*Lauren is currently booked through 2026.

Below are additional doulas in the Midstate area who provide faith-aligned support. Availability, approach, and personality will vary — so I always recommend reaching out and having a conversation.

How to Choose the Right Doula

Here’s the truth most people won’t say:

Not every doula is the right fit for every mama — and that’s a good thing.

When you’re choosing support, pay attention to this:

Do you feel more peaceful or more confused after talking to them?

Do they respect your voice — or subtly override it?

Can they support your faith without turning it into passive “just trust God” language?

Do you feel like you can actually be honest with them?

You don’t need the most popular or experienced doula.

You need the one who feels like peace in your heart.

Before you go....

Whether you end up working with me or one of the doulas listed above, the goal is the same:

That you walk into your birth grounded, informed, and not easily shaken by what’s happening around you.

If you’re not sure where to start with that — especially before you even begin thinking about a birth plan — I’ve curated a simple resource to help you process your options, ask better questions, and prepare with intention.
